Fast übersehen, Hangouts gehen nun auch für langsame Internetverbindungen

Vor ein paar Wochen hab ich ein Wiener Frühstücks Hangout getested in meinem Lieblings Café, das funktionieret klaglos mit Tethering und einem Android auch ohne Drosselung der übertragungsrate. Gibt einiges an spanenden Orten an dennen man ein Hangout starten kann es muss nicht immer das Büro oder der Schreibtisch sein. Hier noch kurz eine Erinnerung Hangouts via Livestream auf die Facebook Wall zu streamen ist eine spannende option für seine Facebook Fans und die neunen Google Seiten sich etwas näher zu bringen.

hangouts on slow internet connections

internet connectivity isn’t as fast as we’d like everywhere in the world. but that’s no reason to miss a good hangout! our goal with hangouts is to bring people face to face to face… no matter where in the world they are…

so today we’ve enabled a low bandwidth setting for hangouts. if you’re somewhere where internet bandwidth is limited… whether it’s a remote location or hotel with a slower connection. go to settings in hangouts and switch to “_slow connection_” mode. this turns off live video for the thumbnails (you can still green box), and it also reduces your main video resolution & frame rate. but it lets the conversation carry on!

Finally i found my Game on Google , no nothing in the game repository, probably quite a time online but fun wint G+ Hangouts to play live.
Its a game for all folks that like Photos and traveling around the globe.

Where in the World? is a Game-like Picasa Maps mashup

you get points by guessing where the photo could be taken. Some times really hard if its only a person with a smal background. The nearer you gues the more points your earn. Its quite tolerant guessing 2000 km away still return some points .

Dont hit the High Score but got quite close with 1502 without cheating .
Could be even more fun to play it in a hangout to aktive screen share in a hangout you should try these link , it will add selective Desktop share ,Document share and SketchUp.
