Nachdem Twitter die RSS feeds entfernt hat hier eine kleine übersicht im grunde kann man diese sehr einfach nutzen zur darstellung dynamischer Tagclouds oder Auswertung aktueller trends oder Sie weiter verarbeiten mit Yahoo Pipes. Um zum beispiel eine Wolke der aktivsten  Twitter discusionen um ein thema oder person darzustellen im Blog folgt ein Demo mit dem Flash Tool von Tagul. Dynamische Tagclouds sind auch mit Javascript erstellbar.

Natürlich kann man die RSS suche auch kombinieren z.B GEolocation plus Hashtag 

Etwas sauberer geht es wenn man direct die Twitter Api abfragt  um via Google Docs und Import XML tweets abzufragen.

What we can do with the RSS streams ? Add a RSS import Plugin to your wordpress Blog and inport your favorite Boards as post. Feed Flash widgets with the Feed and share on Facebook. Filter the Feed with yahoo tube and get selective posts for your Fanpage ,add one of the post to Facebook wordpress plugins . Make a custom Facebook Child theme and use a Iframe Tab App to share it on your Fanpage.
